You were my one and only course
I lost trace of you
I took to the roads without a course and trace
I crashed right then left
I was always scattered to the dead ends
As your name tingled, I closed my ear
I couldn’t end the treble screams inside me
My mind was always with you, I cheated my body
I was scattered from one love to another
She went, did not look at me
Did not even turn back
I helplessly bowed to my prevailing pride
I heard she has been someone else’s love
Winds have already taken her place
And me, I have let go of the life
Wounds have spread over my heart for nothing
I heard she has a daugter and son
She has been busy with her own life
The most painful one is that
She didn’t remember of me
And has already forgotten
Anyone?
track instead of trace
terrible instead of treble
As far as other parts are concerned, song lyrics are a law unto themselves. Some of the lyrics that I would have said were 'incomprehensible', 'gibberish' or 'unacceptable' have earnt their writers millions of dollars. There is a lot to be said for being rich rather than right.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
