Dear all,
What is the meaning of the expression or the rhetorical question "What is in a name?"
They were talking about "Artest" who became "Metta World Peace"
When do we usually say that expression?
Thanks.
Shakespeare probably started it circa 1592 in Romeo and Juliet.
Ron Artest changed his name to Metta World Peace. He remains the same person no matter what he chooses to be called.Juliet:
"What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet."
