what is post participle verbs
Well, "post" means after and there are two kinds of "participles":
i. present participles end in -ing
ii. past participles end in -(e)d or -(e)n or -t.
Now, I've heard of th term "post-passive participle", for example, "We were told", but I haven't heard of the term "post participle verb".
You see, participles are not verbs, but they can and do participate in the verb phrase. They come after the verb, like this,
EX: We have eaten,
EX: We were finished.
I wish I could help you out more.
