Default Formats on writing a Speech

For my examination, i am supposed to write a speech that sounds both friendly and persuasive, unfortunately i do not know what format and terms i need to use in order do put myself in a persuasive as well as friendly position.

the question is as such, plan a speech to promote your secondary school to the primary school you are about visit.

sounds simple enough but i am really bad at writing and greatly need help.

Default Re: Formats on writing a Speech

Here's a guide: http://teacher.scholastic.com/writewit/speech/
Apart from remembering that you are addressing a audience, which involves greeting them, etc, clarity is essential in a speedch. Firstly, I would make a list of the point and put them in order of importance- what has your school got that the audience will be interested in hearing about?
