Consider a situation

Someone gave a password and aked me if i am able to login to a
website using the password immediately.

Assuming it is the wrong password.

What should be my replay

1)The password dosent work
or
2) The password is not working
or)
3)The password will not work
(or)
4) The password didn't work


or any other .

The person is on the phone.( I am taking to him over the phone)

I agree that "That password does not seem to work" is a good option. Some alternatives:

I couldn't log in using the password you gave me.
The password you gave me didn't work.
I was unable to log in with the password you gave me.
