help with tense!!
I already got the key of these following sentence.However,i still don't understand that answer basing on theory about tenses.Please help me!
1.1.Oh,you had been here yesterday.I_____ you______until tomorrow.
A.thought/were coming
B.didn’t think/were coming.
C.think/will come.
D.thought/were not coming.
Key:B.
???: What is the difference between B and D?? I think they have the same meaning.
2.2. “When ……………..again?”-“When he_______,I’ll let you know”.
A.he comes/comes
B.he comes/will come
C.will he come/will come.
D.will he come/comes
Key: D
???: Please tell me the reason why they use "comes" in the clause "When he comes".
3.It is five years since he began to study English.
???: Why the first verb is tobe (is) while the sencond one is put in past simple(began to)??

Please:
Leave a space after punctuation marks.
Use only one question mark at a time.
In the first question. 'you had been here yesterday' is unnatural English. I would have expected 'you got/arrived here yesterday.
B is the most natural answer, but D is possible.
The correct answer to 2.2 is D. In time clauses referring to the future, we use a present tense.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
