Would both options be correct?
Get in the car!
Get into the car!
In my opinion I think the latter is correct but I've seen many times the former one , especially in a song.

Both are fine.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
What about the rule regarding which 'into' is used with verbs of movement and 'in' only with places? Why in the above example can be used both?
