No. If I really wanted to use 'there is no teaching' for some reason, I can thing of two ways in which I could dou it; there are probably more:
1a. In our school, there is no teaching in the afternoons. That is when the teachers do their administrative work and prepare lessons. Teaching resumes in the early evening.
1b. There is no teaching of religion in state schools. That is considered the domain of the churches.
2. (?). There is no teaching young Percy Postule.He either will not, or cannot, sit still long enough to learn anything.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
