    Default Wood pile

    “Every home had a little building behind the house for a toilet. Usually it was a two holer. There was also a wood pile between the house and the outhouse, so you could kill two birds on each trip”.


    What a wood pile have to do with a privy?

    Nothing, except that, on your way back from the privy, you could pick up some wood for the fire.
