I know what is the bathtub for. How about the standing area only for taking shower?
Thank you.
It's just called a shower.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
If the area is enclosed it's sometimes called a shower cubicle.
not a teacher
The thing you stand on is often called a "shower tray".
You'll also hear shower stall.
In some countries, of course, there is just a shower attachment on the wall but no tray, no cubicle, no curtain, no screen. The whole room is tiled from top to bottom and has a drain hole in the middle of the floor. The room usually also contains the toilet and a washbasin. In that instance, the whole room can be referred to as a wetroom.
