Dear all! I have some doubts about a few sentences:
I (stay) here for nearly a week now and I (expect) I'll stay for one more, as I 6)(begin) to fall in love with the place. This holiday (become) better and better as the days go by.
I have stayed, I am expecting, I am beginning, the holiday is becoming.
Would you please tell me if it's OK? And if not, why should Present Simple be used here?
I have chosen Present Continuous because I am expecting is a kind of plan, she plans to stay for one more week. She is beginning/starting to fall in love sounds like a process and this holiday is becoming - is something that changes. For example: We are getting older.
But I still have doubts and I will be grateful for your help.![]()
I'd change the second to the simple form.
Thank you for your answer, Tdol. So, other sentences are correct then? Thank you once again for your help!![]()
