    Default Mystic and Slingshot

    "I'm just hanging out, drinking some beers and promoting my gear like I’ve got some new stuff out with Mystic and Slingshot"

    That was said by a surfer who had just quitted the race.

    Why "    Mystic" and "Slingshot" are capitalised? Can they simply be names?

    They must be brand names or names of magazines or something to do with surfing. It makes more sense for that to be the case than to imagine the sentence with them uncapitalised and try to work out what on earth "mystic" and "slingshot" might have to do with it.

    or he promoted his stuff by buying new acessories for example from those companies' products?! Can that go?
