    Default to put on

    In the situation below:

(B has asked permission to A to record their interview and A starts answering)

A: Exactly the same way as you, as you would like to put on
    B: Oh no, no.
A: There will be some of the things you would like to write it down
    B: ...

Can you tell me what "to put on" possibly means in this context?

None of it makes any sense to me.
