Hello.

I want to make a question to the following, 'The engine won't start'?
I don't know which one to choose:

1. Will the engine start?
2. Does the engine start?
3. Can the engine start?


The third seems ungrammatical to me, but I am not a native and may be wrong.

Particularly, I just cannot get the hang of 'The engine won't start' and I always thinking that as of 'The engine doesn't start'.
It might be one of these cases where logic should be off in order to stick to the pattern.

A. 'The engine won't start.'

Q. 'Why are you sitting in the driver's seat looking worried?'

A. 'The engine won't start.'
