Can one say:
1-We went there in two days.
instead of:
2-We made the trip there in two days.

To me 2 means we travelled for two days.
1 could mean that we went there two days after the day I am talking about.
Could 1 also mean the same as 2?

If you want it to mean "two days after the I am/was talking about" then you would say "We went there two days later".
