Natural or not?
Hi dear teachers,
A friend of mine recently updated his facbook status recently by posting the comment below. I was wondering if this way of using words sounds natural to your native ears or not. He claims to be from Canada.
Recently,Ive heard some lurid stories bout some! It's unfortunate that some gullibly naive lasses are being duped by such cunning guys!!!
Here, you can figure out how field dependent such soft creatures are!In fact they are easy prey for vicious predators like...It savours of chicanary and backstabbin...
To me some sentences seem to be convoluted and unnatural, do you agree?
Thanks in advance.

Do you approve of his writing style?

Re: Natural or not?
It would not be natural for many people, but then little about Facebook is natural for some people. Strange things are written there.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.

Re: Natural or not?
Convoluted and unnatural, I agree. I would add meaningless and, in places, not the constructions of a native speaker (of course, perhaps he's not a native speaker!)
I agree with 5jj - Facebook and most other social networking sites are not expected to be paragons of good grammar and elegant style.
