Can you please check the grammar in the following sentence - whether it is right or wrong ?
1) Police held me for not being issued a valid passport of mine.
2) I want moment Mr. X reaches there, fax is handed over to him or fax should be handed over to him immediately.

Your first sentence should read "The police held me for not having a valid passport." or "for not holding a valid passport Plain and simple.
However, if there is more focus on the police detaining you because they have not been handed a valid passport bearing your name, you might want to write "The police held me for not having been given/shown a valid passport bearing my name." A bit clumsy, but the more descriptive versions usually are.![]()
I'm unclear about the second sentence. That would depend on whether someone is handing over this passport to somebody or if it ought to be handed over to him/her. (real or unreal situation)
