He wrote a book on Korean history
Can you replace on with "about" or "of"? If so, what is the difference among the three?
ex)He wrote a book on Korean history.

They mean the same to me. There's not enough information to say which preposition is best; and most people wouldn't discriminate between them - though you probably could if you had to.
