Default "-in" materials

hi, i just want to ask some information about "-in"
there are sort of words followed by "-in" such as "spendin","foolin"...
is there anyone knows what's the meaning of "-in"
and what is defferent between original word and the word after add "-in"

"-in" or "-in'" as it should be correctly noted with an apostrophe. eg. Spendin', foolin', buyin', sellin'.

This is just a shortened version of "ing". (Buying, selling etc.)Typically American English.
