"After you put on heavy-duty gloves, hide the pill in a large piece of fish, push it into the cat's mouth, and pour in some water."
I think this sentence has 2 independent clauses : 1) "hide the pill in a large piece of fish", and 2) "push it into the cat's mouth, and pour in some water" and one dependent clause : "After you put on heavy-duty gloves".
Correct ?

I think this sentence has three independent clauses : 1) "hide the pill in a large piece of fish", 2) "push it into the cat's mouth", and 3) "pour in some water"; and one dependent clause : "After you put on heavy-duty gloves".
