    Default A grammar question

    Dear ELF,
may I use "there're..." as a short form of "there are"? Is ""there're..." a slang
    form? Does it exist?
Please answer me as soon as possible.
    Many thanks! Yours Umberto Zecchin

We say it, so writing it is a possibility, but not used much. You could write it to show pronunciation.
