| 1.(( Next week , I am moving to the island of crete , I am renting villa there for the summer )) why do they say : ( I am moving , I am renting ) not ( I am going to move . I am going to rent ) ? Or are they the same ? 2. We learnt that there are some verbs which we can not add (ing) in the end of them . like : ( love, hate.need, apear, seem, want) and the verbs which belong to the senses . Will you give me more examples plz. Best regards, Rose |

| 1- I am moving = the arrangements have been made- it's more than a plan or intention, it's fixed. 2- Understand, comprehend (however, you wil find cases where they do have progressive forms- it's not always an absolute rule) + modals |
