Right.It's a proper pot, a proper copper pot, a proper copper coffee pot. The pot, not the coffee, is copper.
Somebody gave me this example:
"I want a proper cup of coffee from a proper copper coffee pot. If I can't have a proper cup of coffee from a proper copper coffee pot I'll have a cup of tea."
This 'proper copper coffee pot' means 'proper coffee pot made of
(the metal of) copper', right?

Read the first post quickly - it's just a 'tongue twister' so probably has no REAL relevance being a 'copper pot'. it just makes it more difficult to say!
