Resolve
"The following URL resolves to an example of a Facebook "community page."
I'm not sure what "resolve" means here. It might be jargon because I've come across it quite often in documets written by programmers.

I wouldn't necessarily say that it's strictly jargon, but you don't see this meaning used too much outside of technical manuals and the like.
All this sentence means is if you type in this URL in your address bar, it will take you to some sort of Facebook community page.

URLs are "user friendly." We can remember "usingenglish.com." But to the computers, all internet domains are some number like 192.245.34.12
So a DNS server "resolves" the URL into the computer address.

"Convert or transform" is a legitimate definition of "resolve," so it's not like programmers are creating a new use for the term.
