past
Hi,
What is difference between ;
- I was clicking.
- I clicked.
And when should I use each one.
-
Re: past
Without more context, neither of them makes much sense.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.
If you just want to know the meaning of a word, try OneLook Dictionary Search first.

Re: past
I might come back to this question later. I'd be able to find it more easily if the title had been I was clicking, so I probably won't bother.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****
Good morning, SecurityLenux:
(1) "To click" means many things.
(a) Sometimes it means that you become very comfortable with someone/something.
(2) Tom was lonely. He wanted a girlfriend. So one day he went to a coffeehouse. (Of course, he did not go to a bar!)
He met Mona. They clicked immediately (they liked each other very quickly). Tomorrow Tom and Mona have a date to see a
movie and then have dinner. He promises to take her home by 9 p.m. Mona is a good girl, and Tom is a gentleman.
(3) Tom went to a coffeehouse because he was lonely. He met Mona. They started talking and laughing. Tom was really
clicking with her (making a good impression on her) when SUDDENLY a big guy came to their table and said, "Hey, dude,
Mona is my girlfriend!" Tom left the coffeehouse.
