Future simple
Hello,
Is it better to use future simple instead of 'going to', 'present progressive' or other future forms in situations when you are not sure that something will or will not happen?
Eg., I hope the weather will be be nice.
I hope everyone will come.
She probably will stay till Thursday.
We think he will come home late in the night.
Thanks

You could use "is going to" in all those examples.

Re: Future simple
Also, with 'hope' you could use the present simple, but not in the other two cases.
