Correct punctuation
1. She will entice the man to strip during video chat, and unknown to them, a video would be taken by her boyfriend.
2. She will entice the man to strip during video chat and, unknown to them, a video would be taken by her
boyfriend.
Should the comma come after 'chat' or 'and'? I have seen both ways of punctuation and wonder which is the correct one. I guess both are correct.
Thanks.

Re: Correct punctuation
I prefer 2. But isn't it "unknown to him?" Or did she not know her boyfriend was recording it?

It should be after "and". Then if you remove "unknown to them", which is added information, the sentence still makes sense.

I copied the original sentence wrongly. It should be 'him', the victim.
Thanks for your prompt reply.
