Speaking
Hi Teachers,
When someone asks to speak to you on a telephone call, and you want to tell them that it's you.
What are the common things to say?
I always say, "Speaking." Is this correct?
Many thanks.

Yes, if someone says, "I'd like to speak to Ferdie", you can say "Speaking".
You can also say, "This is Ferdie".
