Default In scale

Hello,

could you please tell me what the term "in scale" means in the following sentence:

The plans will be made in scale.

I know what "scale" means, but if no particular scale is stated, e.g. 1:100, then what does it mean?

Thank you very much.

Hanka

In scale - in representative size. Just look on a map. Scale 1:100 indicates 1 inch on paper or on a model represents 100 in reality.
