Default Punctuation marks

Dear sirs,
Please help me to put punctuation marks in the following sentence: "Postolit -- a jewelry brand -- boasts a unique history." Or will it be better: "Postolit, a jewelry brand, boasts a unique history." Does this sentence sound good in English?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Best regards,
Julia

Default Re: Punctuation marks

I'd use the commas.
