1- Which is Canopy`s broadband platform user ranking? What solution do you have for each?
Are both correct? do they mean the same or do both have different meanings?
i would really apreciate your answer
thank you
Miriam
"which" refers to a choice:
EX: Which (one of these) is Canopy's broadband platform user ranking, X or Y?
Casiopea
thank you very much, so if i wanted i could but either what or which in this sentence and it would be correct, right?
Miriam
Casiopea
thank you very much, so i could place either in the sentence, right?
Miriam
You could, but they are not identical. 'If you ask a question with 'which', then there is a range of choices that is understod by the listener/reader, while 'what' is an open un restricted question.Originally Posted by MIRIAMTTI
