    Default at/in?

    "that's the motel (that) we stayed in/at", "That's the motel which we stayed in/at" and "That's the motel in/at which we stayed"

    Q) What's the difference between at and in?
    No difference here in those sentences?

    There's no real difference, though the third is rather more formal.
