Default Is this sentence gramatically correct? (please answer fast)

I was a good student, thus being noted for my good knowledge.

Please correct this sentence if it is incorrect. Thanks in advance!!

The phrase "good knowledge" doesn't work, and I'm not sure what you mean by "being noted."

(Please don't write "Please answer fast" - Even with your please and thank you (which I appreciate) it still comes across as demanding of the people who give their time freely.)

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Ok. Leave aside the phrase 'good knowledge'.
There's a phrase ,'be noted for', which means: known by many people, especially because of particular qualities (It is written in the dictionary). And I simply used 'thus' instead of 'that's why'. Is it still incorrect?

You could say "and thus, I am noted for my depth of knowledge."

Is that more or less what you want to say?
