remember there is 'bear' and 'bare'!
Bear - animal
Bear - to carry a load, or support
bare - to strip down, or without coverings
Its not really clear when you say I bear my company. You probably won't hear anyone say that. If you're trying to say that you are the only hard working one there or you are the one supporting (to keep from weakening) the company, you would say things like "I keep the company afloat".Quote:

'Bear' your emotions = you have large or heavy emotions, and you do not let them out or let them take control, you hold them back bearing the 'weight' of them pushing to get out.
'Bare' your emotions = show them, let everyone see them.
silly me. you're absolutely correct. i was thinking of bearing something as in bear a certain quality.
