Can i use the verb bear to tlak about material things like "I bear my company" ? Could I use bear to refer about abstract things like "I bear my emotions very well"

Re: the verb bear
remember there is 'bear' and 'bare'!
Bear - animal
Bear - to carry a load, or support
bare - to strip down, or without coverings

Its not really clear when you say I bear my company. You probably won't hear anyone say that. If you're trying to say that you are the only hard working one there or you are the one supporting (to keep from weakening) the company, you would say things like "I keep the company afloat".

This makes sense. It's like "I show my emotions very well"

Wrong kind of bear!

This would be the BARE - to show or expose.
"My company". Is this "my place of employment"? In which case would most likely be to 'bear' the load of responsibility, or is it "self companionship" which would be to 'bear', or 'put up with or endure' your own company (companionship).
'Bear' your emotions = you have large or heavy emotions, and you do not let them out or let them take control, you hold them back bearing the 'weight' of them pushing to get out.
'Bare' your emotions = show them, let everyone see them.

Re: the verb bear
silly me. you're absolutely correct. i was thinking of bearing something as in bear a certain quality.
