I'm confused.
I insist that he be dismissed = I insist that he should be dismissed?
In actuality he is not dismissed, so it is present subjunctive?
But I thought:
If I were the king, she would be queen. -present subjunctive
If I had been the king, she would have been queen. - past subjunctive
