Please help me with these sentences

I was thinking that it should be "He got a dowry offer of 80 lakhs". Please help me.


2.) He is most likely to be found in front of the computer playing games or solving puzzles which are large than life.

Is the usuage of "larger than life" correct?

3.) Is it right to say " Puzzles to kill you and thrill you"

or should it be "Puzzles to kill and thrill you" . Should the "you" be repeated twice?

1- We don't have dowries, so I'm not sure but would say 'he was offered 80 lakhs as a dowry'
2- I'm not convinced that a puzzle can be larger than life.
