I would like to know about the word insole from a teacher of English.

I have insoles in my shoes.

Is it correct to say insoles? Is it insole?

4 I'm going to look at shoes.
5 My shoes are dirty.

you almost always talk about both (3,4,5) shoes (2). if for some reason your talking about just one shoe, maybe you are holding it, looking at it or iscussing it, (1) is fine.

I thought it would be incorrect to use the plural form of 'insoles' . That is why I asked the question.

By the way, you have started a sentence with a simple letter. Is it fine?

I think it should be ' Theres is an insole ..........

"There is an insole in my shoe" is correct.
"Theres is an insole in my shoe" is incorrect.
"theres" is not a word. "there's" is a contraction of there and is. So that would mean "There is is an insole..."
