Do you think "online" and "email" instead of "on-line" and "e-mail" are acceptable?

online is the correct word.

email and e-mail are both perfectly acceptable. i think more people use email (like me) because they are too lazy to type a hyphen when it isn't necessary :)

Like Borat, I am too lazy to use a hyphen, though I would force myself in a formal piece of writing.
