Would you say "Chris' car" or "Chris's car" ?
I've always thought it would be the first one, but now we're teached to use the last example.
Can you use both?
I'm a little confused :P
Thanks. :)
You cannot use both - only Chris's car.Originally Posted by Thalii
s' is plural.
Even among native speakers (Edit: ESPECIALLY among native speakers :)) it is a very common mistake.

Aah, okey, better get used to it then. Thanks alot! :)
If it makes everyone feel better I should say that I've seen a majority of trainee teachers make similar mistakes.Originally Posted by Thalii
It does ;) My previous teacher never mentioned this. But I'll try and remember it now.
