while driving or while you are driving, if the main clause has an impersonal subject?
Please tell me which of the following is grammatically and semantically correct. Thank you very much.
1. Texting/Text messaging while driving or crossing the street is dangerous.
2. Texting/Text messaging while you are driving or crossing the street is dangerous.

I prefer #1, but I think both are acceptable.

They're both OK. Again, I prefer the first as it's more concise.
