Whate are 'pronouns'? Which position in syntaxes they occupy? Can I use a noun instead of pronoun? What impact it makes on other parts of speech in a syntaxis?
Pronouns replace nouns, so you can use a noun instead of a pronoun, though doing this often makes the text repetitious as we use pronouns to avoid repeating nouns, among other things.
Dear teachers,
How would you analyse "one" in the following sentence, please?
"London is ONE of the most loved capital by ...."
Is one a numeral used as a determinative adjective or is it a (derterminative ??) pronoun ?
Many thanks,
Hela
