Question what is first base, second base, third base..?

I have a study group meeting for learning English. We watch one episode of sitcom, "Friends", every week and study about it. We met this sentences.

"Rach, you went to third base with my cousin!!!"

I have no idea what that is..

Yesterday, during I was watching "desperate housewives", this sentense came up.

"She felt guilty about letting her boyfriend go to second base."

and in the screen boy and girl was kissing each other.

So, I guess these "base things" has a sexsual meaning??

then what is first base?

Yes, you are correct. It does have a sexual meaning.

It refers to various stages of 'intimacy' by comparing them to a baseball game, with HOME RUN....yes, all the way!
