requisite & requiremrnt application
Dear friends,
According to "check your english vocabulary for IELTS", Written by ''Rawdon Wyatt" and in page 1, we can see test below:
3. It is a .......................... of the university that you attend an interview.
A.requirement B.requisite C. requiem.
now, my question is that why A is true and not B?

Re: requisite & requiremrnt application
Because it should be a noun (requirement) and not an adjective (adjective).

I think that's a typo. billmcd meant to write, "Because it should be a noun (requirement) and not an adjective (requisite)".
Actually, 'requisite' can be used as a noun, and would fit in the original question, so it's a bad question.
However, I think many speakers would agree with bill that 'requisite' is more commonly used as an adjective.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.

dear friends,
from above, thus, I found that the question is essentially problematic, and is not a true one.
best regards.

Re: requisite & requiremrnt application
I've learnt something here again. I did not initially think that "requisite" was a noun although I use the word "prerequisite" a lot.
