question hi there
my professor keeps using "bare with me". What does it mean? Could you please give an explanation with an example?

Re: question Unless he is encouraging you to take your clothes off with him,
it would definately be "bear with me"!!
This has the meaning of "stay with me on this", "this may take a while to explain - so please be patient", "it may seem that this make no sense, but if you wait it will become clear".
