I'd like to ask about the meaning of 'just' in the sentence: "I was just leaving for church when the phone rang."
Does it mean the person already left or s/he was just about to leave or both were possible?

She was actually leaving - i.e. in the middle of walking through the doorway. In practice, this moment may be extended to a very short time before/after that moment.
