Default Are these sentences natural? May 24

    Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

    1. How would you characterize your clients versus John's?

    2. How would you describe your facilities versus those of John’s?

    3. He bears a striking resemblance to Tom Hanks.

    Thanks,
    MG

I would use "compared to" or "as opposed to" instead of "versus".

    2. How would you describe your facilities versus those of John’s?

    "Those of John", not "John's".

    That sounds fine.

    Thanks,
