    Default Breaking news

    Teacher:
    I ordered e-mail news from YAHOO,one of e-mail titled "Breaking news".What's mean?

    In the main e-mail,there is only one sentence instruct one new.

    So how to understand "Breaking new"?

    'Breaking news' is the very latest news that is coming out- stories that are being received now, often where the details are not clear yet.

    'Breaking new' sounds like a mistake to me.
