any better way to express this?
Hello,
" His cello case is covered with pictures of him and
his wife and their children."
Is the expression " pictures of him and his wife and their children" authentic? Do you have any other better way to express the same idea?
Thanks

"...pictures of him(self), his wife, and their children."
"...pictures of his family."

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion. But here I want to express pictures of the couple and their children, then it should not be " pictures of himself, his wife, and their children?" right?
Thanks

That is perfectly fine. There are other ways to express the same idea, but they aren't necessarily better. (Caseopia noted one: him and his family.) There are other ways to express the same idea, but it is possible that none are clearer than him and his wife and their children. The phrase him and his family, for example, might include other people than him, his wife, and their children.

I would not use himself. You could say them and their children if you have previously mentioned the couple. Example:
- He has some pictures of him and his wife. He also has some pictures of them and their children.
How's that? :D
