Default adjective or present participle?

Hello teacher,

Yesterday, I took the above teste and I got 60% correct. Could you explain the difference?

What is the above test?!!!

I heard him singing a beautiful song. (singing is present participle)
I saw a singing man in the party. (singing is adjective)
